Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
ATRYX Group (“ATRYX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s Law 25 (the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector), and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, and, if you provide them, your company, phone number, the type of inquiry, and the contents of your message. If you email us directly (for example, careers inquiries to careers@atryx.ca) we receive whatever information you choose to include.
Information collected automatically. Subject to your consent (see “Cookies, analytics & your consent” below), we use a first-party analytics tool to understand how visitors use the site. This may include:
- pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, and scroll depth;
- device, browser, operating system, and screen-size information;
- your approximate location (city/region level, derived from your IP address — we do not store your full IP for analytics);
- the page that referred you and any campaign parameters; and
- anonymised session recordings (replays) of page interactions, with form fields and other sensitive inputs masked so the values you type are not captured.
How we use your information
- to respond to your inquiry and follow up with you;
- to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and our services;
- to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and which content is useful; and
- to comply with our legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or ad-targeting.
Cookies, analytics & your consent
Our analytics — including session recording — uses a first-party identifier cookie (_sw_vid) that is created only after analytics start. How consent works depends on where you are:
- Quebec, the EEA, and the UK: no analytics or session recording runs until you click “Accept” on our consent banner. Until then, no analytics session, recording, or identifier cookie is created.
- Elsewhere (including the rest of Canada): analytics start on an implied-consent basis, and you can withdraw at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer — withdrawing is as easy as consenting.
We honor browser privacy signals automatically: if you have enabled Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track, analytics never start — even if a banner “Accept” is present. We also use strictly necessary, essential cookies required for the site to function; these do not require consent.
Service providers
We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes described above:
- Stehrway Media — provides and processes our first-party website analytics and anonymised session recording.
- Mailgun (by Sinch) — delivers the email generated when you submit the contact form, and the confirmation email we send you.
- Vercel — hosts the website and provides content delivery and security infrastructure.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that happens, the information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and we take reasonable contractual and technical measures to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our ongoing relationship, and as required by law. Analytics data is retained for limited periods — anonymised session recordings for approximately 30 days and event/analytics data for approximately 90 days (these windows are configured in our analytics platform and may be adjusted). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time (via “Cookie Preferences” in the footer, GPC/Do Not Track, or by contacting us), and unsubscribe from any commercial electronic messages we send (CASL);
- request deletion or de-indexing of your personal information; and
- request a copy of the computerized personal information you provided to us, in a structured, commonly used format (Quebec Law 25 portability).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or — if you are in Quebec — the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
